A software studio
for the public sector.
False Cognitive Technologies — FCT — designs, builds and runs software for government departments and public authorities in the Samoan Islands, from two ports and a distributed engineering team.
Our interest in the Samoan Islands is a long-running one.
How the ethnologically diverse regions and cultures of Oceania can be algorithmically defined into business logic — for optimizing processes toward an otherwise unexpected outcome.
Admittedly, certain members of our team (actually, just one) want to test scenarios of localizing workflows to the unique human factors and challenges of managing processes, quality and consistency in the Samoan Islands. The rest of us are going along for the ride, kicking and screaming.
Since 2012 that has meant systems for customs, ports, health, treasury, executive offices and public authorities on both sides of the islands — see the work.
The parts a procurement officer asks about.
Prototype, pilot, run.
We answer RFIs and RFPs, and we work directly with departments and authorities. The usual path is a working prototype you can click, a pilot in one division with real users, then production — hosted by us or on your infrastructure — with support.
Live demonstrations of several systems on the Work page are available on request, with demo data.
